Mission Statement

The mission of the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Art Department is to provide a quality arts education and to assist students in achieving their artistic and career goals.

We offer an Associate of Fine Arts degree and the opportunity to explore a variety of art media. We contribute to the liberal arts education of all students by offering introductory studio courses, art history, art appreciation and design.

Our mission evolves as we prepare individuals to build their portfolios or transfer to a Bachelor of Fine Arts program at a 4-year college or university.
