HUMANITIES 1103: APPRECIATION OF THE FILM AS ART
ANOKA-RAMSEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE
COURSE HOMEPAGE

In Humanities 1103, students watch and analyze a  broad range of Twentieth- and
Twenty-first-Century films.  We will learn about the components that make up films, such as
lighting, color, camera angles, acting, directing, theme, and special effects.  Our overall
goal is
to gain an appreciation of the artistry and the language of film, so that
students derive more pleasure from their personal movie-watching experiences.
