Study Abroad /Teach Abroad in China
Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Zhaoqing University

Brief History: In December of 1994, Anoka-Ramsey Community College and the Zhaoqing Institute of Education in Zhaoqing, China, established a sister college relationship to promote intercultural understanding through teacher and student exchanges.  Since then, five American teachers (Clem Chang, Katy Kysar, Mark Widdel, Gordy Wax, Rob Harris) and six Chinese teachers (Chunyi Lin, Weihua Lu, Youmei Hou, Tian Ke, Xuexia Guo, Yuping Zeng) have participated in the exchange.  Since 1995, about 40 Anoka-Ramsey students have studied for a full semester at the Zhaoqing campus.
