  • Creative Writing Club

The ARCC Creative Writing Club is an active group that helps students find recognition for their writing by sharing creative writing, bringing in guest writers, sponsoring on-campus readings and off-campus field trips, and lending its support to the literary magazine.  Visit the Creative Writing Club link for the club meeting schedule and upcoming events.

The Rapids Review is ARCC's literary magazine, created and published by the Creative Writing Club (CWC).  All ARCC students are invited to submit poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and artwork for publication from January until mid-March. This free publication is distributed late Spring Semester. For more information, e-mail CWC advisor Scott Wrobel.  Read editions of The Rapids Review and its predecessor, RAMpage, online:

  • Visiting Writers

Every year, the English Division hosts writers to visit with literature classes, read to the entire campus from their works, talk about their writing processes, and answer questions about writing.

Here is a list of all the writers that have visited or are scheduled to visit the Anoka-Ramsey Coon Rapids campus.
