“The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think - rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.”

-Bill Beattie

The goal of Faculty Development is to encourage, support, share, and applaud innovative teaching and learning methods.  Faculty and staff share techniques in/and discuss critical thinking, active learning, instructional technology, writing, assessment of student learning, and best practices.  We also seek to cultivate community bonds between students, staff, faculty, and the administration.
