Social & Cultural Activities
-You are invited to participate in any or all
of the social & cultural events that we plan
each semester! A wonderful chance for you
to enjoy yourself for free! We’ve attended
theater and play events, sporting events,
volunteer activities, and on-campus
volleyball and pizza parties.

Career Advising
-Help with deciding on a major
-Researching occupations
-Take an interest inventory
-Tips on completing job
 applications
-Resume writing & interviewing tips

Free Success Workshops
-Attend one-hour workshops to enhance
your academic success!

Campus Visits
-In an effort to aid our students in deciding
where to pursue their bachelor’s degree,
each semester our advisors take students
to four-year colleges and universities for a
campus tour and transfer information
sessions.

Open Houses
-Each Semester TRIO SSS hosts an Open
House. The events include a chance to
gather information about TRIO SSS events
and opportunities and enjoy refreshments,
door prizes, and contests. Staff, faculty,
and all students are welcome.

Tuition-Free TRIO SSS  Classes
-TRIO SSS offers one class every semester that is tuition-free for you! You are only responsible for the fees & the books for the class. Contact us for more details.

Graphing Calculators & Tape Recorders
-We have TI-83/85 calculators & tape
recorders available for SSS students to
check out for the semester.
Quantities are limited so check one out today!
- We also have a laptop computer available to loan out on a 5 day basis. It can be used for word processing (typing papers) but it does not have the capability to be connected to the internet.

Individual Tutors
-Arrange with your advisor to work
 one-on-one with the same tutor for
 a subject.
